Respiratory Conditions

Many people suffer from respiratory conditions such as pneumonias, bronchitis, sinus difficulties, coughs, sore throats, tonsillitis, post-nasal drip, asthma, emphysema, bronchiectasis  and others. Allergies are discussed in a separate article.  This article discusses a few specifics of respiratory conditions and their correction with Nutritional Balancing Science.

Sinus conditions

Sinus problems are almost universal across the country and in many other nations as well. Often, a chronic sinus infection is present to some degree, at least. Usually, it is a fungal infection. Secondary bacterial infections that co-exist with the fungal one may respond to antibiotics, but the fungal infection will not respond and remains, becoming chronic.

The causes for this are sugars in the diet, a generally yin condition of the body, and the fact that the sinuses are a very yin part of the body. This means expanded and ‘empty’ in Chinese medical terminology. Also, circulation here is poor and there is often waste matter for fungal organisms to live on present. Shallow breathing, living in polluted air, sharing air with others who are infected such as in airplanes and theatres, are other factors that may cause sinus problems.

Symptoms may be few, or one may have post-nasal drip, snoring, swelling of the nose and parts of the face, headaches, at times, and other pain in the area.

Dealing with chronic sinus problems is easy with Nutritional Balancing if a person will use a near infrared light sauna once or better, twice daily. Usually, when the diet and other parts of the programme are followed, the sinuses eventually start to drain and the infection will subside. This is an excellent remedy for acute sinus infections as well, along with the use of colloidal silver.

Tonsillitis

This is very common in children, particularly. The tonsils are lymph glands that help prevent the spread of infection from the sinus area and ears, perhaps, down the neck and into the rest of the body.

In most children, allergies to dairy products, other food allergies, imbalanced body chemistry, fatigue and stress are major factors that can contribute to tonsillitis and a generally impaired immune response.

Nutritional Balancing can usually stop tonsillitis rapidly and easily. Antibiotics that add to the child’s toxicity level are rarely needed. Tonsillitis is usually not a fatal or even extremely serious condition. Removal of the tonsils is not a wise idea and can usually be avoided easily if doctors would carefully work with a child’s diet, drinking water, lifestyle habits, eating habits and correct the balance of the minerals at a cellular level. This is the essence of the Nutritional Balancing approach.

Pneumonias and bronchitis

Pneumonia is an infection of the lung tissue. There are many types due to bacteria, viruses, fungi, chemical irritants, chest trauma and even parasitic infections.

Viral and bacterial pneumonias must be treated aggressively because they can and do cause death if they are not attended to. The lungs can fill up with fluid, and the person literally drowns. This can happen quickly, in a matter of days or even hours in some cases. So pneumonia should never be ignored. At times, medical treatment with oxygen and antibiotics may be needed. However, less toxic natural methods can work very well, even if antibiotics and other drugs are not working well.

A complete Nutritional Balancing programme is excellent for chronic cases of pneumonia, bronchitis, sinus conditions and most respiratory conditions. For acute cases, natural remedies should be used first. One excellent remedy is a high quality colloidal silver. In this case, it can be taken both orally and inhaled to reach the lungs and bronchioles directly.

Other excellent remedies include high-dose vitamin A, vitamin C, bee propolis and shining a single red heat lamp on the chest, particularly the thymus gland area for 10-15 minutes at a time, several times daily. These are safe, simple and inexpensive approaches that can keep a respiratory infection from spreading and becoming a health emergency. These measures can be started immediately as soon as one feels unwell, starts coughing, runs a fever or feels congested in the chest. If you are not getting better, always consult a health professional.

Asthma

This chronic condition is becoming far more prevalent around the world. It is usually easy to stop using Nutritional Balancing Science. Food allergies may play a role, as can improper diets, stress, hidden bronchial infections and other factors. Even poor posture may contribute. Correcting the diet and balancing the body chemistry usually leads to improvement within a few days to a few weeks.

Emphysema

This is a degenerative lung condition in which the delicate alveoli or air sacs of the lungs break down, reducing the amount of air that a person can safely inhale. This also reduces the amount of oxygen and carbon dioxide transfer that can take place in the lungs. It can be a fatal condition if left untreated, depending upon its cause.

Common causes are smoking anything and occupational exposure to gases and smoke, as occurs with fire fighters, at times, for example. Even breathing metal fumes or dusts can lead to the condition.

The response of this condition will depend upon its cause. However, many cases will respond to Nutritional Balancing if we can detoxify the body and remove enough of the offending chemical or metal. Most people with this condition are also severely malnourished and toxic, generally. As these situations are corrected, the body can often heal the lung tissue if the condition has not progressed too far. Often, there is also some chronic infection present that may need to be healed as well. The use of the near infrared sauna may be extremely helpful to improve circulation to the area and promote healing of the lungs.
